Anyway since I have already place the blame for my blog's lack of updates on Dragonica It's time for me to go back in-game....yes I know It's already 1am + and it's a work day but don't worry planning on getting MC since I'm entitle to 12 days of sick leave and I cannot bring forward any unused days. Day 1 - 14/04/09

We fly of from Singapore on a 4am Lion Air flight. Can't believe we actually hang out at Changi airport from 11pm+.

Dawn was breaking over the sky as we were flying. The scene was beautiful and I felt like kicking myself in the butt for not keeping my video camera in my hand carry luggage. I got a few shoots on Irwan's point and shoot camera, I'll upload it when I get the photos from him.

We landed at Denpasar Airport at around 6am. Got through immigration who was manned by a guy who didn't even crack a smile when I say good morning. Maybe it's cause I'm not wearing a skirt.

We took a taxi to the hotel, Simpang Inn, at Legian Street. Check in and oh my god how the bed is tempting me to just jump in and sleep but against my better judgment I decided to go out with the guys.

When we hit the street I realise that Mr Sun is working on overtime at Bali. It was freaking hot. We walk through Legian Street and there are shops selling arts and craft, t-shirts, there's massage parlours and tattoo shops and the shop owners are very friendly.....I think they have sixth sense and knew we are tourist...or maybe my gawking at everything gave it away XD

First stop Kuta Beach. Sun bathing chicks, sorry no topless pictures, surfing beach boys, peddlers selling cold drinks, beach wears and even surf board rental.

The plan was to book sufing class form one of the surf school but we miss the lesson slot for the day. Well since we can't get the school instructor a...erm...private instructor will do.

Water and me don't mix so I opt out. Iman and Hady are more interested shooting in bikini clad babes so they opted out too. Which leave just Irwan and Sharavanan, our 2 budding surfer bums I mean surfer boys. And no I'm a good boy, I shoot them surfing not sun-tanning, bikini clad beach babes.

We head back to the hotel after that to shower and refresh but I have gone to sleepy land and that's it for me cause I'm slept till late night. In my sleepy stat I remember hearing that they are goin for massage and then dinner. They bought for me pizza so I did not "starve" that night.

Day 2 - 09/04/09

Sight seeing for Day 2. Pak Toni will be bringing us around today and he came to pick us up at the hotel. And so we head out to the country side...but first something much much more important...breakfast.

As we travel we pass by building and people and before we know it we are seeing padi fields. I didn't even realised when we pass over the boundary marking town area and the countryside and I was wide awake unlike a certain fella.

Apparently it's an important day for Balinese on that cause there's ceremony at each temple that we pass by on that day.

We finally reach the mountain area. The view here is breathtaking. I let thee Video and pictures speak for themselves.

Head over to the new Kuta Beach. Not a lot of people here compare to Kuta but I kinda like this beach better. And of course what a holiday without a stupidity or two.

After that we head over to a temple to take pictures of the sunset and also to watch a Balinese Cultural dance.

After that we head over for seafood dinner before returning back to the hotel.

Day 3 - 10/04/09

Water rafting is today's plan and I took part despite my "water and me don't mix" stand. Our cameras and video cam aren't water resistant so there's no video for this activity...I knew I should have bought that outdoor helmet mounted camera.

As luck would have it we did not capsize for the entire journey. So it was a smooth goin till the end. Until I laid my eye on the monstrosity they called stairs. 350 steps up....3/4 up and my body is telling me,"Get your fat ass to the gym and work out bitch!"

The river raft guide we had for our journey had to assist me for the last quarter up and I use the term assist loosely. Well at least they did not have to casevac me out of there.

When we get back to the hotel we rest up before goin out for dinner. One thing I have to point out is that Bali night life is damn happening...unfortunately I'm not a party/club goer and I don't drink so I can't really appreciate Bali night life.

Day 4 - 11/04/09

It was suppose to be a water sport day, scuba, para-sailing, etc. But since I don't like water sport I decided to opt out, Sharavanan wanted to go get a tattoo and Hady wanted to be a lazy bugger and sleep in so that leave Iman and Irwan for the water activities.....soooo sweet.

Well the 3 of us laze around till around noon until our belly inform us in no uncertain term to get some grubs. Went to this burger shop and let me tell ya the burger is so finger lickin good that 1 is not enough, hell and at the price they charge, 35,00 IDP (S$5.20) for a whooper size burger, You can afford several.

After lunch we shop around for some souvenir and then we went to this tattoo shop so that Shara can feel pain. Honestly if it's pain that he want we can help him.

Halfway through the procedure there was a blackout. I think Shara confirm go,"Oh crap."

Luckily the electricity went back on otherwise he probably have a half done tattoo. The whole thing took around 4 hours so Hady and I decided to get Dinner for us 3 and return to the hotel.

When Shara return to the hotel he got this tube of cream which he purchase from the pharmacy. He was told it was an after tattoo cream. I wanted to laugh at his expression when he apply the cream...It burns.....

Day 5 - 12/04/09

Last day in Bali. Laze around and pack our bag in the morning before checking out at around 12 noon. Spend the day walking around and doing last minute shopping.

Pak Toni meet us at Simpang Inn at around 8pm to bring us to Denpasar Airport. Our flight was at 12.30 but it actually got delayed and we were not seated together so here's a tip, check in together and never tell them you're traveling alone.

Day 6 - 13/04/09

Reach Singapore at around 2am. Shop at the DFS for some liqour...not for me. And Kumar was there to pick us up. Love ya. Went for breakfast before goin home.

Yes I know I was suppose to go into seclusion but I still end up going to KKNM. Went there to pick up my Konata and Kagami plushie. Unfortunately Kagami plushie ran out of stock...disappointed, and so to ease that disappointment I got myself figma Yagami Hayate instead.

Hmmm a very flimsy excuse to spend money...lol

Surprisingly as I get older my endurance to do things I like seem to get lesser. Gone were the days of all night chiong session or movies or animes marathons. Sigh growing old sux big time or maybe I just need a good smack around to wake me up.

The calender and monitoring bars are from Rainy's. RainLender 2 is the Calender application while RainMeter is the Performance Monitor application

Woohoo!!! First day in annual 3 day leave. And as usual I always cook for my ~~guinea pig~~ I mean colleagues. 3 dishes this time round, Butter Rice, Lemon Chicken and Bake Potato and Shiitake Mushroom, not Burnt Potatoes kay.

My estimation on the amount of ingredients need is still flawed as usual. The potatoes and Mushroom this time round are smaller, should have gotten more or at least reduce the quantity of whipping cream used. But still it come out okay, just a little "creamier". Omit the onions due to one of my colleague's dietary restrictions. And also thyme since NTUC don't stock it up....heck NTUC never stock up on herbs like thyme, parsley and basil. I could go down to Cold Storage or check out Sheng Siong but I'm just plain lazy.

Bake Potato and Shiitake Mushroom

Shiitake Mushrooms, The first time I made this I end up if lots of leftover mushrooms, this time round I didn't get enough o.o"

And a generous dose of ~~Low-fat~~ whipping cream.

Next up is the Lemon Chicken.

Chicken Fillet

Tender ~~rabbit~~ chicken Meat. Season with a mix of black and white pepper. No salt though since the stock for the sauce is already salty.

The ritual "Over Fire" sacrificial ceremony.

End product look good enough to eat on its own if you don't mind the bland taste. no salt remember XD

Lemon Sauce

And I thought the sauce would be hard. Just dump in all the ingredient. I reduce the quantity of the sugar though and I glad I did, cause it was commented that the sause is pretty sweet on it's on but just nice with the chicken breast.

And last but not least and gratefully easiest to make is the Butter Rice. Omit out the chicken stock again due to dietary restriction. And this time round the rice turn out nice and moist.

Quality ain't that good but with my crappy phototaking skills and my caffeine-induced shaky hands, this is probably the best I could do even with photoshopping...not that I have Nerd-god bestowed proficiency with Photoshop that can make crappy picture look like a million dollar picture.

I think I've neglected my blog long enough. Well too many personal issue happen.

I promised to post up some pictures from AFA08 before but due to my sis smartness, she go and delete all the pic in the camera without checking if I have already transfer over to my Comp.....heart pain sia...

AFA08 Weekend

I just came back from AFA08 and man I'm totally worn out. It's been an exhausting 2 days. Both my fren's wedding and AFA08 is on the same weekend. I'm hanging out at his place on Sat and his wedding on Sun and also attending AFA08.

I've got some pictures I'll post them up tomorrow since I don't know where my sis kept the camera USB cable and she's on night shift tonight.

May'N concert really rawk. I had intended to video the concert and I had found myself a nice corner with a good view when the MC announced that May'N requested that we don't record or take any pictures during the concert.......well there's a possibility that the 'request' might have come from the media or company...but hey I'm a baka good boy so I'll took the announcement with a lil' salt and put away my video camera. Although like typical Singaporean a few of the people do ignore the announcement. Like the good ol' mantra goes,"Do anything don't get caught."

Anyway look forward to some of the pic tomorrow. Don't expect much though, I've never been a good photographer.

Woohooo !! Level Up!!!

I've gain another level today, aside from the usual increase in HP and ability I've earn a new Feat. It's called,"Class 3 License".

I find that the higher level I get, the harder it is to level up, not to mention it seem harder to earn new Feats and Achievements too. But it's nothing that can't be overcome with some hard work....okay fine grinding.

Okay best, time to enjoy this euphoric feeling for today then it's back to the daily grind tomorrow.

Note to myself,"If I wan the game on launch day, do it the good old Singaporean way, which is to camp over night at the shop...or just pre-order from them.

The next time my gut feeling tell me that the day is gonna be pretty fucked up, I'm gonna listen to it, get an MC and stay home.
*Sigh*
I really feel that some Singaporean Drivers aught to be shot in the knee caps just to prevent them from driving. It was a rainy morning today and as usual traffic at the AYE was crawling. As usual and being unavoidable I was riding between lane when the driver on the left lane switch lane to the right with minimal warning. Now why did I say minimal warning? It's because he signal his intention but he did it while changing lane which is truly fucked up. I never recall any of my instructors saying change lane and signal at the same time... It's always Signal, Check mirror, check blind spot and then change lane if safe. To the numbnuts drivers out there, see the word that I have bold, SIGNAL so that other road user can react to your fucking actions.

Thanks to this fuck up driver, I've skidded and lost control of my bike when my rear wheel fishtailed to the right. Knowing that I could not regain control, I let go and jump forward hoping that If the car at the back could not stop it will hit my bike first before hitting me. Got the air blown out of my lung upon impact with the road surface and was pretty disorientated, took me a few minutes to regain my bearing. I do know that my left side of the body took most of the impact, now my left thigh and arm is damn sore.

The fucked up driver did not even stop to render assistance. The bloody bastard just drive away. By the time I manage to stand up, the fella was already down the road that I could not even see his number plate and the rain did not help any. The best thing is that only ONE Malaysian rider stop and ask if I'm alright. A heartfelt thanks to that kind rider.

I'm not gonna say that It's all that driver's fault. By riding between lane I'm already in the wrong but those of you who drive or ride will know how bad majority of the drivers in Singapore is. Lane change without due care, road hogging, etc, etc. If I were to follow behind another care in this situation if the car in front were to jam brake, I'll be kissing his bonnet. By stay between lane I can have enough time to react if only the bloody driver "Signal, Check mirror, check blind spot and then change lane if safe".

My bike ain't too badly damage, still able to run but still heart pain to see her damaged like this.

These are the damage to my bike, not to mention I have to have the mechanic check if the wheel are still in alignment.
A really fucked up day.

Finally finish putting up the back panel and varnishing it. Now left only the drawer's back panel and the wall shelf...Yes it's the little renovation to my room which I planned to do since about December last year.

No picture yet, gonna wait till everything is finish. I had planned to do the drawer today but I actually fall asleep, well can't really blame me, I was on enquiry counter duty this week, Driving lesson at 8 am on Saturday and Sunday and not to mention Cabal CBT. I was wondering should I make the wall shelves myself or be lazy and get one from IKEA.

Feel totally lazy to go to work tomorrow, no will, no passion, no drive, no motivation. Really need to find a new job, one that doesn't involve dealing with customers.

Well nothing much, my life is pure boredom. Think I sleep early today. Despite sleeping the afternoon away I still feel tired o.o"

Yes late again as usual, you guys should not be surprised right? That time of the year of overly commercialize romance have come and gone and like the year before it I find that it is still not to my liking. Maybe it just me being all by my lonesome or me being a year older.

Interestingly, in Japan unlike in other countries, it's the girl that give chocolate to guys.....then again even if I were to be in Japan I probably find myself alone too. Lol

By the way my colleague at work gave me the best present.

For once I can get something which I really wanted. There was suppose to be 4 voucher but I have already use one of them to purchase a Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru pencil boards.

I'm still undecided on how to spent the other 3 vouchers, It's not that I don't know what to get, It's just there's too many I want to get. XD

Anyway I've been playing Two World. It's a pretty interesting CRPG that played almost like Oblivion. It's almost the same that the game allow you the leisure to explore the game world at your own pace as well as an unrestricted character built. But unfortunately it doesn't allow you to continue after completing the game.

A grumpy, jaded seer in love with a tender-hearted, spell-slinging half orc heroine and a funky bard for a dad and an arch-mage for a mom, an innocent lil' brother and a necromatic older brother. Each episode have an excellent story not to mention bad puns. So check it out if you guys have the time.

Hew Year, New blog outlook, same old lazy Yan. XD

Well since I have no date on New Year Eve nor any plan, sad right?, I decide to fiddle with the blog design a lil' bit, which I planned to do since, oh about 2 or 3 months back. I kinda like the new blog design, of course me being artistically deficient, will probably find this satisfactory.

I was having a chat with with my colleague on New Year Eve's morning at work, yes it's a half day and If I wanna take the half day off I have to use 1 day leave. Anyway I ask her why are we celebrating New Year or birthdays? After all it only mean that we are a day older or should I say 1 day closer to the grave and the new year will only see an increment to our daily expenses which our wage are not catching up to. She could only agree to watch I say...or maybe she just don't want to listen to my nonsense early in the morning. XD

Talking about getting older, I stumble onto a piece of my childhood while surfing through Youtube.

Man talking about childhood memory, I remember when I was watching this series of Kamen Rider badly dub in Malay.

Not forgetting I have 3 new web comics. Chugworth Academy, Mistakes of Youth and Tsunami Channel.

Of these three I especially like Tsunami Channel. I really enjoy reading the ExCoCo series. The MaMi series is kinda like Card Captor Sakura but with more interesting powers.

I also received my Haruhi Suzumiya LE DVD Vol 4 from Amazon....took them almost 1 and a half month to deliver...ok granted that they are located halfway across the world in the US and it is the festive season, Christmas not Hari Raya, and not to mention I choose the cheapest delivery option, even the cheapest almost cost me S$10+....well at least I receive it instead of having to go through the hassle of e-mailing them and telling them someone lost my parcel. Oh no picture this time, I kinda misplace the USB cable for my phone....my bad.

I gonna spend the day playing Witcher, pretty solid story and gameplay and I love the way how the consequences of your action return to haunt you later in the game.

In the early part of the game I decide to let the 'rebel' take the supplies which our resident smuggler have promise them. I wasn't willing to let them take it since my task was to guard the goods and I intended to stay out of any political fight but when they say they need the medicines for their injured companions I gave in and let them take the supplies. And later on one of my NPC which I need to complete a quest was assassinate by these rebels using the supplies I have given them....Baka. Well this is not the only time when my result of my decision come back to haunt me.

Do enjoy the opening scene of the game.

Anyway I wanna know how the story gonna unfold so cya guys and have a good year ahead.

Kaka Said I'm addicted to the PS3, I say nay, I'm not addicted, I'm just a lil' too attached...yes that right just too attached, I'm not addicted........UNHAND MY PS3 YE KNAVE!!!!

Anyway it's my favourite day of the week, Caturday, eh I mean Saturday. I went for the screening of Byousoku 5cm at the National Museum of Singapore. What can I say, great animation accompanied by a great story. The story not only tugged on my heart strings but it is thought provoking too. A few of the ladies in the theatre were sniffling while watching the show and no I did not cry, just dust in my eyes. A lot of things went through my mind after watching Byousoku 5cm, mostly how events in my life relate to the story of Byousoku 5cm.

Well I'm not gonna bore you guys with my waste of time attempt at blogging a review for Byousoku 5cm with my sub-standard command of the English language. Instead I'm goin to refer you guys to a review written by Crest of RIUVA. In my opinion, it's an excellent review.

Oh yes not to forget I'm playing Maple again..........somebody please put me out of this misery. Well there are new maps, new quest and not to mention 4th job advancement but majority of the Maplesea community is still shockingly retarded.......eh wait why am I shocked at this fact.......must be getting old.

From 3pm to 10pm I was entertain by mega war with a bunch of rich retards calling each others, inclusive of the other parties' parent, names. If they really got too much money to waste on megaphone war maybe they should consider donating those money to me. I can put it to better use, like purchasing a Shana figurine that was reviewed on HappySoda.

Of course not forgetting this kid who think he own blardy Chronos map. See me, first thing that come out was "cc pls". So I go,"You own the map? No right? Then share." To which is reply was,"Then I ks you." Yeah right..I'm a blardy warrior, I'm used to getting ks since level 1. Since he want to waste his time I just ignore him but suddenly he disappear when I SB a whole lot of Chronos in front of him. Man I wonder, can't he see from my gear that I'm at least twice his level?

Of course since he cannot ks me, he change tactic to verbal abuse through PM. I can feel my brain cells dying by playing Maple, I don't need to accelerate the process by having a verbal spar with a retard who do not understand the concept of sharing while playing online game. Please for the sake of all that is good and holy, play offline game, like maybe tetris if you don't know the meaning of share.

Can't they get the concept of more people = faster kill rate = faster spawn = more mob to kill = faster EXP gain....of course this will depend on what kind of map.

Can someone tell me why am I putting myself through this kind of irritation again?

The day before the start of a new week.

Had a lil' BBQ yesterday with some of my secondary school friends. Heh, people go out and visit each other during Hari Raya, we have a BBQ instead....takpe...class XD

Anyway the number of people attending is actually pretty small, me, Hady, Irwan, Shara, Sophia, and the girls. As usual the guys other than me start the fire and do the cooking while the girls just sit there and eat. Oh yes this time round I'm not the food tester it's Sophia, lucky XD

But still feeling a lil' bum out, put in so much effort and like only a few appreciate it. Anyway I got a couple pictures of the food. I gave up taking people's picture after seeing how crappy it turn out to be.

After 12 it's just us four guys, Shara whip out Monopoly Marvel Version out of his car and we proceed to play Monopoly all the way till 5am in the morning. I forgot how much fun a simple board game can be when played together with friends. XD

Played till 5am well actually Irwan when bankrupt at that moment so we decide to call it a night....erm morning. Shara went to pick up Sophia at Woodland before dropping us home. And of course jokes with ghey undertone fill the car from Pasir Ris all the way home.

Laze around at home today when I realise that I was suppose to clean my room up....never mind next time XD. *Sigh* I don't feel like going back to work on Monday T_T

Wow Yan cook....ok for those of you who know me since Secondary School don't insert the Maggi mee joke.

Anyway it all started during Lic Yong's wedding dinner at Persada Johor. We were happily enjoying the food when this dish, Butter Sauteed Prawn in Vermicelli Basket, came to our table. Upon tasting it Hafiz and me were actually trying to figure out what was the ingredient used. So the conversation goes like this or something to this effect;

Me: hmm think they fried the prawn first. Egg and flour I guess.
Hafiz: I think they use oat.
Me : Really? Hmm... a bit spicy and a slight taste of curry.

Oh by the way, the name of the dish, I made that up. Frankly I can't even remember the name of the dishes served, eat first.

Well since today is a Sunday and I'm feeling a wee bit hardworking I decide to try making the dish and no I did not burn my kitchen down.

Of course me being me I got my Sis to buy the prawns and De-shell them on Saturday XD
But she did not De-veined the prawns...oh well ain't that hard to De-vein.....it's just tedious.

After cleaning the prawns I prepared the batter. I used 4 Yolk + 1 full egg. As for the 4 egg white I use it in the soup, I'll get to it later.

Remember Hafiz saying he taste oats during the wedding dinner? Now I was so damn sure I have some oats in the kitchen cabinet but as luck would have it Mom brought it to work.

So how? No oats? Die.... But never fear, sadistic medic can always improvised.
So I substitute the oats with bread crumbs. So bread crumbs, flour, chilli powder and a lil' salt.

Dip the prawn in the egg and coat it nicely with the flour mixture an then into the pot of hot oil. Muahahahahaha!!!!!

Oh, see the chao ta lookin' ones at the top left? That was the first batch. Cook a lil' longer than I should.

And this is my first mistake. Since I'm gonna sauteed it in butter I should not have fry them for about 5 minutes till golden brown, instead 2 to 3 mins would suffice. Prawn will get hard if overcooked.

After frying the prawns, I put in about 2 and a half spoonful of butter in a heated wok. Second mistake, a lil' too much butter. In goes the chopped chilli, garlic and curry leaves. Finally ion goes the prawns when the aroma of the garlic, chilli and curry start to rise.

Well due to Mistake Number One, the prawns is a lil' hard and the excess butter kinda overshadow the subtle taste of the curry. Overall taste kinda ok according to my ~~lab subjects~~ parents but just too much butter.

The second Dish that I made is soup. To be more specific, soup which I had once at Maju Camp. It's like Shark Fin soup but without the shark fin.

Again this is an experiment cause I don't have the recipe. So I use chicken stock as the soup base. Bring it to a boil and add in vermicelli and diced chicken boobs....mean breast. Then slowly add in the egg whites, yes the same egg white, don't waste food. Lastly add in corn starch mixture to thicken it.

The soup turn out better than I expected. Next time I just need to increase the amount of vermicelli and diced chicken and reduce the chicken stock to 4 cubes.

But the true result will be tomorrow. See if anyone took MC for diarrhoea. XD

On another note, I receive my package from YesAsia. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu Limited Edition Vol 3 (R1)

The box was a lil' squashed...heart pain but since the damage isn't that bad, I'm not gonna make a big issue over it. Beside I don't know if the damage was done by YesAsia's staff or SingPost or some other entity which might have taken interest in my package.

On to the goodies.

Well other than the iron on and pencil board which I have received since Vol 1, I also receive a pillow case.

Vol 4 can be pre-ordered at Amazon already, I wonder what's keeping YesAsia...

As for gaming, been pretty busy with my console game that I've been ignoring GE. I've just finish .Hack//G.U storyline last Saturday, of course I haven't totally complete all the sub-quests but I gonna put it aside for now so I can concentrate on finishing Enchant Arm. Of course with Rachet and Clank and Assassin's Creed coming out this month and next respectively, I wonder if I will ever find the time to start grinding in GE again. My character is getting way behind compare to Kaka's, lex's, Yat's and the rest. Not to mention I've totally neglect my GE In Memoriam project. Heh not to mention that I've been procrastinating on creating a new resume.

There's suppose to be a 2nd DVD containing Ep 1 to 5 in TV broadcast order but it seem the people at YesAsia forgot to include it in. No problem though. After sending a feedback they are sending it to me at no extra charge. Quick and efficient XD

Overall I'm happy with the purchase though I feel the fonts type and color for the subtitle could be better..kinda fudgly but at least the translation is accurate and it seems there's a few scene which is not available in the TV version. Oh there's a clip on "Making of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's advertisement". Aya Hirano is so kawaii XD

Oh and I got my .Hack//G.U. Vol 2 yesterday....finally. So I guess I'll be stuck to my PS2 playing it XD Not to mention I still got Persona 3 and Wild Arm 5 to clear and also Enchanted Arm for PS3....yeah I got myself a PS3. Mix feeling about this purchase though. On one hand I really wanted a PS3 on the other I want a US Version. Only god know why the Asia version only support NTSC J for PS2 games. And my belief never to trust a promoter, especially at COMEX, is further reinforced with this purchase. Ah well maybe I get US Version in the future.

Anyway I was a lil'...erm how you say....caught up with the Xedo saga....Well kinda a long story so I won't repeat it here, if you want to know more read the articles in our local paper and their a bit lop-sided reporting, in my point of view, or your you more net savvy people surf around and you'll see the real reason behind this lil' brouhahaha that Xedo managed to cook up. Oh do read Dark Mirage blog, his blog entries regard this issue is pretty level-headed......What you guys expect me to provide you guys with the link? Go google, there's only enough room for a lazy slob in this blog. XD

To sum it up, this issue is a matter of legal vs ethical. And at this point of time it seems like Legal is winning over Ethical. Sadded....

This lil' "Saga" teach me one thing. It's safer to download p0rn and hentai compare to anime. Yes you kiddies don't Download Anime or you will get a 3k-5k love letter from Xedo just like that 9 year old kid. You download p0rn and hentai instead. You get to learn about the human anatomy as a bonus. XD

Given the choice of buying crappy, legal local product vs good quality,"illegal" free gift, I decided to go Rogue and buy good quality, oversea product instead.....nah actually I was looking for .Hack://G.U. Vol 2 and all the game shop in this Red Dot seem to have sold out...Well actually the website I go to isn't any better but I did get a few games that's no longer available in our local game shop.

Found this online shop PlayAsia....no don't think dirty, there's no adult stuff there. Order Atelier Iris 3 : Grand Phantasm and Pre-Ordered Persona 3 : Special Edition.

Not bad my order got process pretty quickly and in case of Persona 3 it got ship out once it was released. Shipping took about a week, the company is based in Hong Kong if i'm not wrong and shipping to Singapore is Free is it's below US$100, below certain weight and if you choose airmail.

Granado Espada Launch party @ Zouk

Yeah yeah I know the Granado Espada Launch Party @ Zuok was on 16th of June. I'm late so bite me.

We volunteer to help out at the Day Raid, It's was tiring but really fun. We get to manned the Game Stations for the Real Life Quest. Each of these quest are taken from Ge's in-game quest like Dr Torche's Catherine's quest, Deigo's Notice board Quest and even some new quests that the IAH's staff thought up like Adelina's Locket.

I get to manned the Cite de Reboldeux's notice board. Here Squads, oh you need to be in a team of at least 3 people called Squad to do the quests, need to do and Emblem for their faction to earn the quest's chop. Some of them are GE players while others are not, so it kinda make my job easier for the GE players since I don't have to talk so much. But interacting with the non-GE players is also kinda fun. And some of them actually when all out to draw a nice Emblem. Here is one of them.

Although majority of them are sporting, ugliness do rear their head. There's these group of 9 people who want to do only 1 emblem. Since minimum per squad is 3 and maximum is 5, I told them they need to give me at least 2. One of them draw and submit their drawing along with 5 of their member's quest cards. This is when when the other 4 try to squeeze in their card for my buddy to chop. Why play if you gonna cheat? From their behaviour in real life I can more or less predict their behaviour in game.

Anyway, as you guys know I'm camera-phobic, so the pictures here is all courtesy of one my Scarlet Rose's member, Reino.

And what's a Party if there's no girls right? XD the one girl that caught my eye that day is the FHM Gamer Girl. She very distracting sia. Here are her pictures. To the guys who manage to get their photo taken with her well all I can say is you lucky fellas. Oh my friend Winnie suggest I crop out the guys in the pictures but like I say this is taken by Reino so I dun want to edit anything apart from putting "Reino 2007" on the images.

Oh another thing that really stand out is the detailed monster model. Too bad there's only two of them.

It has been exactly 28 days since I last post so just dropping one to tell ya all I'm still alive. No I'm not being lazy again nor have I've been bitten by a beautiful, seductive vampyr and turn into her minion to lead the unholy and undead life of ecstasy......the latter sounds fun well at least until the randomly assigned hero decide to come in and destroy the vampyr......

Granado Espada have started it's Pre Open Beta Test and yeah I've been suck in the beautiful world of GE. And let me tell you the scene is truly breath-taking. Just take a look at the 3 screenshots below

Hmm I've been lazy again. Been awhile since I updated this teeny lil' corner of Blogger.Com but then again there isn't really anything interesting to blog about. Yeah yeah I'm a lazy and boring person.

Can't believe I'm back to playing Maple story....OK ignore that sentence it's just a figment of your imagination. Actually I've been waiting for Granado Espada Pre Open Beta to start. But unlike my dear darling Yat, I don't intend to chiong my characters like a madman. Instead I'm fascinated by the...erm...pose-ability, if there is such a a word, of the game. The potential to create a Machinima style video or strip is pretty much there. yeah I'm pretty much excited but hey this is Yan we are talking about. My laziness can exert its will on me. XD

The other game I'm playing was recommended by Revoir. Titan Quest. It's pretty much a Diablo clone. Normally this is not enough to entice me to waste the time of my remaining years but I'm a sucker for mythology so yeah I pick up a copy. And add that to the fact that there is a degree of freedom to class creation I'm pretty much hooked. Each character can have a maximum of 2 masteries and with a total of 9 Masteries there a great deal of combination one can try. But other than that it's pretty much a Diablo clone XD

Another greatly anticipated game is actually a mod. The Xtended Ver 0.7 Revelation mod for X3:The Reunion. The current 0.6 mod is already pretty spiffy considering the improvement they made to the stock game but 0.7 mod push it even further with new sector maps, new ship, new weaponry and much, much improve enemy A.I. Not to mention the graphical eye-candy can really push my Gfx cards to it's very limit. I know I will love my SLI-Mode GeForce 7900GS when they finally release the mod. Hell I can say goodbye to my social life when they release the mod....not that I have much of a social life in the first place XD

For those of you that love anime, check out Romeo X Juliet. As the title say it's based on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. While you can probably guess how the story will end from the title, I have to say there are really nice tweak to the story to fit it into a fantasy based background. Not to mention the animation style is beautiful too. Currently being fan-subbed by Shinsen Sub, they have release till episode 3. Now if only they did not drop Witchblade anime I would be a very happy chappy.

Last week was not a really good week for me. I was pretty moody the whole week through. Meh if I were a girl those around me would probably shrug it off as PMS. The more i try to suppress the moodiness, the more irritable I become.

Although I can keep my response fairly polite during the week's Enquiry Counter duty, It's quite obvious that's I'm on pretty short fuse. When we were discussing some of the selfish behaviour of the patients, I let slip some of the more colorful side of the Singlish language which I haven't use since my NS days. It's not really polite to speak like a barbarian in front of the ladies. Apologises

I have an idea why I was feeling like that, more or less, but me being me, don't really find my self at ease with sharing my worries.

Maybe it's just me, I hate to trouble others with my problems when they have their own affair to handle. Or maybe it's that old school thinking that guys should be self reliance and should handle and solve problems by them self.

Anyway I have to try to be more cheerful when I go back to work on Monday. It's not fair to the rest. Just because I'm feeling down doesn't give me the right to behave like a jerk or spread bad vibes to the rest.

The anime is pretty good in my opinion. If you can look over the casual nudity, violence, blood and random flying body parts. You find that the anime have a beautiful and sad story about someone who is totally different from society trying to find acceptance and love. Look it up if ya guys have the time.

Well it's finally the end of another weekend. Been a busy week at work with the darn stock take. Now that it's over I can finally breathe easy........unless some smart baka decide to have another one soon....=.=

Anyway it's not all work, thank god. Went to Swensen Holland with the ladies, Amel and also Uncle Jon. Had lots of fun catching up with them, criticising our workplace and our "beloved customers". Uncle Jon is as funny as ever and Amel seem to be more at ease and relax and for some weird reason still on cloud nine. *Grin* Must either be the new job or a certain someone XD *nudge nudge*

Mel as usual was taking photos of everyone on her hand phone....er sorry guys no pictures of me, I'm photo-phobic beside I don't wanna give ya guys nightmares XD

Good food and great company, I could not ask for more.

I also caught 300, yes a second time, with one of my old and dear friend. I miss those time where we use to catch movies together during our Poly years. I hope our friendship won't change as the year pass.

And it seem that wedding invitations from friends and colleagues are coming in fast and furious. Heh if I tell my mum about these invitations she will confirm, chop plus guarantee ask,"So when is your turn?"

I'll be looking forward to these, hopefully I get to meet some cute girls at these wedding, the bridesmaids maybe. *Grin*

Whee gonna be shopping for a new boot and a couple of shirts this Tuesday.

Won't be working for the next three days. I've been looking forward to this for the past couple of weeks. I need some time off from the daily idiocy that I face at work or I'll go bonkers....not that my current state of mind is any different.

Oh I got a new play list too. This time it's from Black Sabbath. I love N.I.B. but funny thing is I prefer Ugly Kid Joe's Cover rather than Ozzy's. Ah well, I put both of them in the play list so ya guys can choose which on ya guys prefer.

Random Random Weekend, Beloved Weekend

Another week have come and gone and it's the weekend again. When I sit down in the middle of the night with naught but silent and the glow of my monitor screen I wonder where does the time go...

Anyway I finally got off my lazy rear end and scoot down to BBDC to register for my class 3. [sarcasm]*Pewitt!!* 'Chaya sama lu lah Yan!! *Pewitt!!*[/sarcasm]

Ah well ya guys know how lazy I am.....funny thing is that before I had my bike, I was more than happy to roam around staying out late. When I get my bike I get much more lazier with the exception of my weekend movie date..*cough*..did I say date...slip of my tongue, outing I mean, XD which I constantly look forward to.

Now that I'm getting my class 3, hopefully, I wonder how much lazier am I gonna get. *ponder, ponder*

And this lead me to another point, since I have a qualified class 2 license why the heck I have to take BTT again...isn't RTT almost similar BTT? So why can't I just skip BTT and fast forward to FTT? sheesh....

The horror..... theory lesson, evaluation and test re-visited....o.o" Ah well I did promise my parent that I will get my class 3 so no backing out I guess.

Side-note : New play list since I know ya guys might be bored of listening to the same stuff for the pass couple of weeks. XD

Side-note 2 : Next weekend is stock-take so I guess I won't have much of a life this coming week. Enquiry Counter duty, Extension, OT, Stock take, Weekend Duty...god preserve me T_T...On the bright side, 3 days "not free" leave the week after stock take.

Well it's finally the weekend that I've been looking forward to since Monday and guess what, I'm bored out of my mind.......

So to ease this boredom of mine, I decide to browse through Youtube...GASP!!! Yan is not playing game..THE HORROR!!!......Yeah, yeah, ya guys who know me long enough will surely have this reaction.

Anyway I found some Weird Al Yankovic's music clip. It have been ages since I've heard this guy songs. And funny enough they still crack me up......then again I'm always easily amused.

Wow my first post on my very first blog.....

Now I wonder why the heck did I create a blog in the first place. It's not like I'm a very interesting person with a very interesting life with interesting events happening on daily basis.

Oh well I guess i can always post up things which caught my interest in my poor mundane life.

Just a head up, I stress on the "my interest". If it's not interesting to you then to bad. Maybe a lil' bitching and ranting if i'm in the mood for it.

Hey I can't mentally or physically abuse the people that annoy me on daily basis so cut me a lil' slack aight. Let me release a lil' pent up pressure or I might be on the guest list for Ward 12. Not that I was mentally stable in the 1st place though.
